Norwegian soldiers stand guard on NATO’s northern border
Oslo, October 6 (Hibya) - NATO said Norwegian Army soldiers serve in remote observation towers and cabins for up to six weeks to protect the Alliance’s northernmost border.
According to a statement by NATO, conscript soldiers serving in the Norwegian Army’s Jaegerbattalion GSV are stationed in observation towers and cabins in remote areas for up to six weeks, carrying out surveillance duties along the Alliance’s northernmost border.
The statement said the soldiers stand guard in the area to ensure border security.
