Pakistan PM Sharif sends get-well message to Pope Leo XIV
Islamabad, October 14 (Hibya) - Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his get-well wishes to Pope Leo XIV following his surgery and wished him a speedy recovery. Sharif said the Pope’s messages of compassion, peace and human dignity resonate in Pakistan and around the world.

In a social media post, Sharif said that on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, he wished the Pope strength, peace and a speedy recovery.
Sharif said that the Catholic community in Pakistan, along with the entire country, was praying for the Pope’s health, noting that the Pope’s steadfast messages of compassion, peace and human dignity resonated both in Pakistan and in different parts of the world.
Sharif expressed hope that the Pope would continue his valuable service to humanity with renewed strength and determination.
