Pakistan reviews final preparations for OIC Women's Ministerial Conference
Islamabad, July 10 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired the eighth meeting of the High-Level Committee reviewing preparations for the 9th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Women's Ministerial Conference, to be held in Islamabad on July 12–13, 2026.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired the eighth meeting of the High-Level Committee reviewing preparations for the 9th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Women's Ministerial Conference, to be held in Islamabad on July 12–13, 2026.
According to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all preparations for the conference were reviewed in detail during the meeting. The Secretary for Human Rights delivered a comprehensive briefing covering the conference agenda, delegation arrangements, protocol, security, logistics, media organization, and inter-ministerial coordination.
Minister Dar commended the efforts of the institutions and officials involved in the preparations and instructed them to take all necessary measures to ensure that the international delegations visiting Pakistan receive the highest level of hospitality and that the country's renowned hospitality is showcased in the best possible way.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Law and Justice, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, the federal secretaries of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Human Rights, and senior representatives of the relevant institutions.
