Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar met with Kuwaiti counterpart Al-Yahya
Islamabad, July 29 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya on the sidelines of the UN-hosted International Conference on the Two-State Solution.
According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the two ministers discussed ways to further strengthen Pakistan-Kuwait relations with a focus on cooperation in trade, investment, energy, food security, and defense. They also addressed close cooperation in multilateral forums, including the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The statement added that “the two ministers expressed deep concern over Israel’s continued aggressive actions against Palestinians and the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, stressing the urgent need for a just and lasting solution.”
