Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel’s execution in Jenin constitutes a war crime
Ramallah, October 29 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the “field execution” carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Kafr Qud, in the Jenin governorate, which resulted in the death of three Palestinian citizens.
The Ministry stated that Israeli soldiers prevented ambulance teams from reaching the area after the incident and seized the bodies of those killed. It stressed that this incident is part of ongoing attacks targeting camps, villages, and cities across the West Bank.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry noted that these violations and continuing crimes constitute a clear breach of the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people and international humanitarian law, adding: “These actions reflect a systematic and large-scale policy of field executions and collective punishment.”
The statement also called on the international community to take concrete steps to stop these crimes and hold Israeli war criminals accountable.
