Ramallah, August 12 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the statement issued by the foreign ministers of 27 countries and members of the European Commission, calling for increased international visits to the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the special statement made by 27 foreign ministers and members of the European Commission from around the world, warning of the seriousness of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the catastrophic dimensions it has reached.
The statement called for the delivery of all humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and emphasized the need for urgent measures to stop famine and depoliticize humanitarian aid. Participants expressed their support for the mediators’ efforts to achieve a ceasefire.
