Pavel: The Hranice Abyss reminded us of the extraordinary natural wealth we possess
Prague, January 23 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel highlighted the importance of protecting natural heritage during his visit to the Hranice Abyss and the Zbrasov Aragonite Caves.
Czech President Petr Pavel said after his visit to the Hranice Abyss: “In some places it was a bit slippery, but no one in our delegation was injured.”
Stating that the visit left a strong impression on them, Pavel said: “Looking at the Hranice Abyss reminded us of how extraordinary a natural wealth we have and once again showed that it is worth protecting.”
The president also noted that after the cold walk they visited the Zbrasov Aragonite Caves, adding: “The constant temperature of around 14 degrees throughout the year was good for warming up.”
Commenting on the caves, Pavel said: “This unique system is not only a valuable part of our heritage, but also a small work of art formed over thousands of years.”
