Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made remarks regarding criticism directed at the government under wartime conditions and the stance of the media.

In his statement, he said: "Our colleagues in the government have always acted carefully to ensure that the psychological well-being of society is not threatened, and I continue to emphasize the preservation of unity and tolerance of differences. However, when IRIB and certain media activists, under wartime conditions, direct the sharp edge of unfair criticism toward the government, we will be compelled to provide an appropriate response; this is not in the country's interest."
