Pezeshkian: The Iraqi people stood by Iran in the unjust war
Tehran, March 31 (Hibya) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked the Iraqi people for their solidarity, saying they stood by Iran during a difficult period.
In his statement, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iraq’s Muslim people courageously stood by Iran in the unjust war in question, adding that this stemmed not only from geographic proximity but also from shared history, identity, and religious values.
Addressing the people of Iraq, its officials, and its fighters, Pezeshkian said that he sincerely shook hands with Iraqis on the land of Mesopotamia and expressed his gratitude for their determination and loyalty.
