Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced the completion of the renovation works carried out at Daruvar Spa.

Plenkovic stated that, under the government-backed project, the spa had been modernized and its capacity increased through a €20 million investment, adding that the investments also focused on the development of commercial facilities.

Plenkovic said that the swimming pools and sports hall had been renovated as part of the project, noting that the sports hall would be used by both the spa facilities and the Daruvar Veterans' Center.

Plenkovic stated that the investment is part of broader projects aimed at health and thermal tourism, noting that 15 thermal tourism projects have been implemented across the country under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO), 10 of which are located in inland Croatia. He added that, together with the growth of continental tourism, Croatia aims to become one of Europe's leading continental tourism destinations.
