Plenkovic: Moody’s keeps Croatia’s credit rating at A3
Zagreb, October 10 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced that Moody’s had affirmed the country’s investment-grade credit rating at A3 and maintained its outlook as stable.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said international credit rating agency Moody’s had affirmed the country’s credit rating at A3 with a stable outlook.
Plenkovic said that amid geopolitical uncertainties and external shocks, the assessment supports the government’s policies aimed at protecting citizens’ living standards and strengthening the resilience of the economy.
Plenkovic said strong institutions, stable economic growth and responsible management of public finances were among the factors influencing Moody’s assessment, adding that the report also highlighted the successful implementation of reforms and investments under the European Union-backed National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Plenkovic said the positive assessment shows that Croatia is making progress in increasing its attractiveness to investors and closing the development gap with EU member states.
