Portuguese Foreign Ministry: EU reaches agreement against Russian aggression
Lisbon, April 23 (Hibya) – The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it welcomed the comprehensive €90 billion aid package prepared by the European Union (EU) for Ukraine.
In its statement, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry emphasized that this step demonstrates the unwavering support of the EU and Portugal for Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and the principles of international law.
The Ministry announced that the European Union has reached an agreement to advance the €90 billion aid package for Ukraine and to strengthen measures against Russian aggression.
The statement included the following remarks:
“This is a very important moment in which the Union and Portugal reaffirm their unwavering support for Ukraine, defending its sovereignty, independence, international law, and its future integration into the EU.”
