Brussels, March 5 (Hibya) - Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot stated that Lebanon should not be dragged into a war that is not its own.
Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot stated that Lebanon should not be dragged into a war that is not its own.
Prevot said, “We wholeheartedly support the Lebanese government and people in their aspirations for sovereignty, peace, and a state that holds a monopoly on arms.” He added:
“Hezbollah must immediately stop its attacks against Israel and its people and avoid dragging Lebanon into a conflict dictated by Tehran. Israel should abandon its large-scale operations on Lebanese territory.”
