Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Qatar called for the establishment of a new regional security architecture based on the principles of respect for sovereignty and mutual non-aggression to reduce tensions in the Middle East.

Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Director of the Department of Media and Communication at Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated during his weekly media briefing that Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are ready for a security framework, emphasizing that Iran must demonstrate its commitment to regional stability through concrete steps. Al Hashimi stressed that the authorities in Tehran must end threats against countries in the region and guarantee freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Al Hashimi stated that Qatar and Pakistan, together with Saudi Arabia and the Mecca Defense Alliance, are conducting intensive diplomatic efforts to prevent an escalation of tensions. He explained that the Qatari delegation's visit to Tehran was also part of these mediation efforts. Noting that diplomatic contacts between Washington and Tehran continue uninterrupted through Qatar, Al Hashimi emphasized that mediation efforts are continuing with determination to achieve a lasting resolution to the crisis through dialogue and negotiations.
