Qatari and Jordanian foreign ministers discussed regional developments
Doha, July 27 (Hibya) - Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during a phone call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi.

According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides reviewed cooperation between the two countries and steps to further strengthen it.
The parties also discussed the latest regional developments, diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions, strengthening security and stability, and joint coordination efforts.
Al Thani stressed the importance of all parties remaining committed to dialogue and diplomacy, emphasizing the implementation of the understandings reached under the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran, ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and preserving regional security and stability.
It was also noted that Qatar continues to support all initiatives aimed at reducing tensions in the region and achieving lasting peace.
