Zagreb, February 7 (Hibya) – Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, speaking at the 4th Night of Returning Emigrants, said: “Croatian emigrants still play an indispensable role in strengthening the homeland.”
Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman announced that he attended the 4th Night of Returning Emigrants at the invitation of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković as a representative of the president.
In his statement, Radman said: “As a Croatian emigrant and a witness to the process of forming the independent and sovereign Republic of Croatia, I recalled with special emotion the importance of unity between Croats at home and abroad.”
The minister emphasized that the sense of unity was of vital importance, especially during the Homeland War, adding: “Today, in the face of new challenges and opportunities, this unity is just as important.”
Radman noted that Croatian emigrants play a critical role in strengthening the country through investments and by promoting Croatian interests worldwide, adding: “I believe that by continuing this cooperation, we will secure a successful and stable future for the Croatian people.”
