Washington, July 23 (Hibya) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio responded to Iran's statement about an "eye for an eye" approach, saying that U.S. President Donald Trump's policy is different.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio responded to Iran's remarks regarding an "eye for an eye" approach.
Rubio said, "I saw the Iranian foreign minister's statement that their policy is 'an eye for an eye.' The President's policy is 'a head for an eye.' Quite frankly, that's the reality."
Stating that Iran is facing the consequences of its actions, Rubio added, "They are paying a very heavy price for what they have done."
