Rubio: The U.S. and Germany discussed supply chains and the war in Ukraine
Washington, February 13 (Hibya) – United States (U.S.) Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that during his meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, they discussed the security of supply chains, efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, and strengthening U.S.-Europe relations.
In a statement shared on social media, Rubio said, “Today, in my meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, we discussed securing supply chains, advancing efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, and strengthening the partnership between the United States and Europe.”
It was noted that the meeting also included assessments regarding the future of transatlantic relations as well as cooperation between Washington and Berlin.
