Russell: Children must always be protected
New York, July 28 (Hibya) - UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell drew attention to the negative impact of the conflict in Sudan on children.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell assessed the humanitarian situation across Sudan, stating that children throughout the country are facing extremely difficult conditions.
Highlighting the scale of the ongoing crisis, Russell said, “Across Sudan, children continue to bear the burden of a conflict that has lasted for more than three years.”
Delivering a clear message on children's safety, Russell stated, “Children must always be protected.”
