Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov met with Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar
Tianjin, July 15 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Lavrov and Jaishankar met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed key bilateral and international issues in detail, as well as the schedule for upcoming diplomatic engagements.
Both sides reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to further strengthening the comprehensive Russia–India "special and privileged strategic partnership" at all levels. Special focus was given to the situation surrounding Ukraine and developments in the Middle East.
