Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez made a statement regarding the government’s actions and the opposition’s criticism.

Describing the country’s political position, Sanchez said, “What makes Spain unique is not the rise of the far right. What is unique here is that, against this wave advancing worldwide, there is a progressive coalition government that is stopping them.”

Sanchez concluded his remarks with the following words:

“The other day, Feijoo said here that Spain is falling apart. For seven years, they have been saying that it is sinking and collapsing. However, the truth shown by the data is that Spain is in a better position than ever and that the opposition is lying as usual.”
