Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez issued a statement regarding the situation in the autonomous city of Ceuta.

In a post on his social media account, Sanchez said the Spanish government is using all available means to respond swiftly to developments in Ceuta.

Sanchez stated that the necessary resources have been mobilized and that work is being carried out in cooperation with Moroccan and international authorities.

He added that the necessary measures are being prepared to restore normality in Ceuta as soon as possible and noted that he had also informed the President of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, about the situation.

The Spanish prime minister emphasized the importance of responsibility and cooperation in the process of finding a solution.
