Sharaa: We discussed bilateral relations with Nechirvan Barzani
Damascus, Aug. 3 (Hibya) - Syrian President Ahmed Sharaa announced that he met with Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Damascus to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation.
Syrian President Ahmed Sharaa announced that he received Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Damascus.
Sharaa said the meeting addressed bilateral relations as well as opportunities for cooperation that would contribute to the stability of both peoples and serve their common interests.
In his statement, Sharaa expressed appreciation for the support and hospitality the Kurdistan Region had extended to Syrians over the past years, adding that they aim to continue working together in a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation based on good-neighborly relations.
