The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic announced that ministerial-level contacts were held between Syria and Jordan.

According to the ministry’s statement, Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Assad Hassan al-Sheybani, met with Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman al-Safedi, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

It was stated that the meeting was held within the framework of the second session of the High Coordination Council at the ministerial level between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

It was also reported that al-Sheybani met with Jordan’s Prime Minister, Jaafar Hassan.
