Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares emphasized that safeguarding the country's constitutional values and defending human rights constitute the cornerstone of Spain's foreign policy.

Albares stated that the strongest way to defend the Constitution is by preserving and promoting the values it represents, adding that rights and freedoms must continue to be expanded.

The Spanish minister highlighted the importance of preserving the rules-based international order, noting that defending human rights under all circumstances remains one of the indispensable principles of Spain's foreign policy.
