Starmer: Good Friday is a day when Christians remember the values of hope
London, April 3 (Hibya) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in his message for Good Friday that the day is one of reflection for Christians and wished a peaceful day to Christians around the world.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement addressing the faith community on the occasion of Good Friday ahead of Easter.
Referring to the spiritual significance of the day, Starmer said: "Good Friday is a day of reflection when Christians remember Christ’s sacrifice and the values of compassion and hope at the heart of Easter".
Starmer concluded his statement with the words: "I wish Christians around the world a peaceful day".
