Starmer: We will put an end to human trafficking
London, July 10 (Hibya) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer delivered strong messages regarding the fight against migrants entering the country illegally by small boats.
Addressing the gangs involved in human trafficking, Starmer said, “We will end this despicable trade.” He announced that, for the first time, migrants arriving in the UK via small boats will be detained and returned to France. This policy is considered a major turning point in the fight against illegal immigration.
Starmer also highlighted the strengthened cooperation between the UK and France on migration, stating, “Our government has taken the lead in elevating bilateral cooperation to a new level.”
