Sybiha: Terror must never dictate Europe's agenda
Kyiv, July 15 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that while European leaders are meeting in Kyiv to discuss security and Ukraine's future, Russia continues its attacks on civilians, calling on the international community to increase pressure on Russia.
Sybiha stated that at least six civilians were killed and many others injured in Russian attacks on Sumy and Odesa.
He said Russia has targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure with guided bombs, missiles and drones. "Russia has a predictable habit; whenever the world comes together to discuss peace in Ukraine, Moscow responds with more terror against civilians," he said.
Sybiha added: "The only response to every attack must be stronger sanctions, more comprehensive defense packages, and stronger support for Ukraine. Terror must never dictate Europe's agenda. It must be dictated by strength, unity, and determination."
