Kyiv, July 1 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Cyprus for its principled leadership and support for Ukraine as the country's Presidency of the Council of the European Union came to an end.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Cyprus for its principled leadership and support for Ukraine as the country's Presidency of the Council of the European Union came to an end.
Sybiha said that progress had been made in opening Cluster 1 "Fundamentals" for Ukraine, launching the Ukraine Loan Facility, strengthening sanctions against Russia, and advancing accountability measures. He added that Cyprus' contribution to keeping Ukraine high on the EU agenda was highly appreciated.
