Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that the newly approved cinema law would improve production quality and make a significant contribution to promoting Italian culture internationally.

Highlighting the opportunities provided by the law, Tajani said, "The approval of the cinema law is a welcome development. Thanks to the new regulations, the quality of our film productions will improve. We want Italian films to play an increasingly important role on the international stage and gain widespread acclaim. This law gives us an additional tool to promote Italian culture and increase exports."

Tajani also thanked those who contributed to the legislation, saying, "I would especially like to thank my friend and adviser Pupi Avati, who was one of the leading advocates of this important initiative to revitalize Italian cinema."
