Trump: Civil nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia tied to Abraham Accords condition
Washington, July 23 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the civil nuclear agreement being negotiated between Saudi Arabia and the U.S. Department of Energy is conditional upon Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords.
In a post on social media, Trump said the agreement would cover only civilian nuclear activities for non-military purposes and would not permit uranium enrichment.
Trump stated that the United States does not oppose civilian nuclear facilities that do not involve uranium enrichment, adding that the agreement will be approved only if Saudi Arabia joins the Abraham Accords.
