U.S. President Donald Trump provided information on the potential of the Iranian people and the steps needed to reshape relations between the two countries.

Highlighting the current negotiating position, Trump said: “I think we are in a very strong negotiating position to do what other presidents should have done over 47 years; we have spent 47 years with bloodthirsty people.”

Referring to the potential gains for Iran in case of an agreement, Trump said: “Iran could be in a very good position if it reaches an agreement. They could become a strong nation again, a great nation. They have incredible people.”

Trump concluded his remarks by saying: “They need to use reason and common sense.”
