Trump: Obama tried to buy his way out of this with money
Washington, October 25 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump criticized the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), signed during the administration of former US President Barack Obama, while saying that Audi would establish a major manufacturing facility in the US state of Georgia and produce 200,000 vehicles annually.
Responding to Obama's remarks about the Iran nuclear deal, Trump described the agreement as one of the worst and most foolish deals he had ever seen. Trump said, "When I see Obama talking about the JCPOA, I think it may be the worst and dumbest deal I've ever seen. He gave them billions and billions of dollars in cash."
Trump also criticized the agreement's impact on Iran's nuclear activities, alleging, "Obama tried to buy his way out of this with money, and they used that money to try to develop nuclear weapons."
Trump also addressed Audi's investment plans in the United States, saying that the company would establish a large-scale factory in Georgia. "Audi is going to build one of the biggest facilities. They're going to produce 200,000 vehicles a year," he said.
Speaking about the company's manufacturing operations in North America, Trump said, "They're shutting down their operations in Mexico and Canada; they're coming to our country with a brand-new, magnificent facility in Georgia."
