Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The 2009 decision, known as the “endangerment finding,” concluded that a range of greenhouse gases pose a threat to public health. It provided the legal foundation, particularly for federal efforts to regulate vehicle emissions.

The White House described the reversal as “the largest deregulation in American history,” saying cars would become cheaper and that automakers would see a cost reduction of $2,400 per vehicle.

Environmental groups say the move represents the most significant climate rollback ever attempted and that they will challenge it in court.

Speaking in the Oval Office on Thursday, Trump said the 2009 decision was “a disastrous Obama-era policy that seriously harmed the American auto industry and greatly increased prices for American consumers.”

The Republican president added about the Democrats’ climate agenda: “This radical rule became the legal foundation of the Green New Scam, one of the greatest scams in history.”

Former President Barack Obama, who rarely comments on the policies of sitting presidents, said overturning the finding would make Americans more vulnerable.

Writing on X, he said: “Without it, we will be less safe, less healthy and less capable of fighting climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.”
