Trump signs new regulation for federal employees
Washington, June 3 (Hibya) - United States President Donald Trump signed an executive order restructuring the performance and accountability system for federal government employees.
U.S. President Donald Trump signed the executive order concerning federal government employees.
The order aims to strengthen merit and performance principles in the hiring and dismissal processes of federal employees while increasing efficiency in public service. It was stated that the regulation will enable public employees to be evaluated more quickly, similar to private-sector workers, and make it easier to remove them from office when necessary.
According to the statement regarding the regulation, public employees will now be subject to a stricter performance evaluation system. The statement said: “This regulation ensures that federal employees are treated like private-sector workers. They may be hired based on merit and trust, but if they fail to perform their duties, they can be removed much more quickly instead of going through processes that take a year or longer.”
