Trump urges Senate to confirm Todd Blanche
Washington, July 14 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump praised Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's performance and called on the Senate to confirm his appointment.
U.S. President Donald Trump issued a statement assessing the performance of Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche during his tenure.
Trump claimed that under Blanche's leadership at the Department of Justice, the murder rate had fallen to its lowest level since 1900, violent crime had declined significantly, and more than 500 million lethal doses of narcotics had been seized.
Claiming that Blanche had defended religious freedom and freedom of speech while strengthening election security, Trump called on Republican senators to confirm Todd Blanche as Attorney General.
