Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk reiterated his call to states regarding the use of autonomous weapons systems.

Türk said states must urgently adopt legally binding prohibitions and restrictions on the use of autonomous weapons.

Drawing attention to the removal of human decision-making from the use of autonomous weapons systems, Türk stressed that decisions concerning life and death cannot be left to machines.

In his post, Türk supported the Secretary-General’s call to states and pointed to the need for legally binding international regulations to address the risks that autonomous weapons may pose.
