Türk said the chaos in Haiti has “deep, intertwined roots fueled by greed and impunity.”
Emphasizing that resolving the crisis requires a comprehensive approach that goes beyond security, Türk said, “The only way to tackle these is through a comprehensive approach that goes beyond security.”
Türk said international attention and support for Haiti must be sustained, adding, “We need all eyes on Haiti and sustained international support.”
