Tusk: According to initial estimates, Poland may lose around 8 billion zloty
Warsaw, July 29 (Hibya) – Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that U.S. tariffs on European goods have become a reality.
Prime Minister Tusk said that the U.S. tariffs on European products have now taken effect. Although these tariffs are 50% lower than those proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump in April, he emphasized that this is no reason to celebrate and added:
“According to initial estimates, Poland may lose around 8 billion zloty. The losses will be significant on both sides of the Atlantic, but a tough trade agreement is better than a meaningless customs war between allies.”
