Tusk: We have long had suspicions about this
Warsaw, March 22 (Hibya) - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated, regarding reports that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s team leaked detailed information about EU Council meetings to Moscow, that he had long had suspicions about this and therefore acted cautiously during meetings.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made striking remarks about information security within the EU Council and allegations against the Hungarian delegation.
Stating that the leak allegations are not new, Tusk said, "It should not surprise anyone that people from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s team informed Moscow of every detail about EU Council meetings. We have long had suspicions about this."
Emphasizing that this situation affected his working method, Tusk added, "That is why I only speak when absolutely necessary and say only what is necessary."
