A delegation from the UAE Ministry of Defense held meetings with officials from Italy's Ministry of Defense in the Italian capital, Rome.

During the meetings between the delegation led by UAE Assistant Minister of Defense for Defense Policy and Communications Ali Abdullah Al Ahmed and Italian officials, the strong defense cooperation between the two countries was reviewed.

The discussions also explored opportunities to further advance the Strategic Defense Partnership between the UAE and Italy.

The parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral defense ties and contributing to regional and international peace, security, and stability.

It was noted that defense cooperation between the UAE and Italy is intended to advance in the areas of training, technology, capacity building, and shared security objectives.
