UAE Ministry of Defense reports intercepting 10 ballistic missiles and 26 UAVs
Abu Dhabi, March 12 (Hibya) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense reported that the country’s air defense systems intercepted 10 ballistic missiles and 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense, the country’s air defense systems neutralized 10 ballistic missiles and 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran today.
The statement noted that since the attacks began, the UAE’s air defense has intercepted a total of 278 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,540 UAVs.
The statement said that six people from the UAE, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh lost their lives as a result of the attacks and added:
"In addition, 131 people sustained minor to moderate injuries among citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, and Indonesia."
