Ukraine’s message on NATO’s 77th anniversary
Kyiv, April 4 (Hibya) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine shared its assessments regarding the country’s NATO membership while marking the alliance’s 77th anniversary.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine issued a statement on the occasion of NATO’s 77th anniversary.
The statement emphasized that NATO has been a reliable structure ensuring the defense of its member states for decades. It noted that Ukraine sees its future within NATO and that membership is the most effective guarantee of lasting peace and security.
Ukraine stated that membership in the alliance is important for both its own security and NATO’s security, committing to both receive support and actively contribute to the alliance. The statement said: “This solidarity is a true example of cooperation. Especially in today’s global security environment, Ukraine’s NATO membership will benefit the alliance.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stressed that relations with NATO are stronger than ever, expressed hopes for a shared future, and wished continued success to the alliance.
