Kyiv, June 20 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Poles for taking a stand against escalating tensions and emphasized the importance of good-neighborly relations between the two countries.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding relations between Poland and Ukraine.
Sybiha thanked Poles who have taken a clear stance against the escalation of tensions involving Ukraine, stating that Ukraine supports this approach.
In his statement, Sybiha noted that for many Ukrainians this attitude gives hope for the future of good-neighborly relations, emphasizing that despite political tensions, feelings of mutual understanding and support continue to exist between the two peoples.
Sybiha also stated that Ukraine and Poland share a complex history, a common future, and a common bond in facing Moscow, which he described as “the threat of our time.”
