Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: Russia is targeting civilian transport infrastructure
Kyiv, September 18 (Hibya) - Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said Russia was carrying out attacks targeting buses, railway infrastructure, passenger trains and transport stops.
In a statement, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said buses, trains and other civilian means of transport sustain people's daily lives and connections between cities.
The ministry alleged that Russia was trying to extend the impact of the war beyond the front line through repeated attacks on civilian transport infrastructure. The statement said Ukraine needs stronger air defense and counter-drone capabilities to protect its people and called for continued international pressure.
