UNRWA provides educational support to Palestinian refugee students
New York, 23 January (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that in 2025 it provided educational services to more than 100,200 Palestinian refugee students in 161 schools in Jordan.
In a statement, UNRWA said that in 2025 educational services were provided to more than 100,200 Palestinian refugee students across 161 schools in Jordan.
The statement noted that new facilities, such as the Jerash Camp Girls’ School, have strengthened access to safe and inclusive education, while vocational training programs supported around 4,000 young people, helping them find employment.
UNRWA emphasized that it continues to help build futures in Jordan through education.
