UNRWA: Situation is very dire for over a million displaced women
New York, April 19 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) reported that the situation is dire for over a million displaced women who face difficulties in accessing clean water, food, and basic hygiene materials.
In a statement by UNRWA, it was indicated that the war in Gaza continues to be a war against women, and it said:
"The United Nations Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Unit reported that 10,000 women, including 6,000 mothers, have lost their lives. The situation is dire for over a million displaced women facing difficulties in accessing clean water, food, and basic hygiene materials."
