UNRWA: We have lost all contact with our colleagues in Gaza
New York, June 12 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that it has lost all contact with its staff in Gaza.
In a statement, UNRWA said that all lines of communication with its personnel in Gaza had been cut off.
“This morning, for the first time in months, we did not receive the usual morning messages saying ‘Good morning’ and ‘We are okay / we are alive.’ We are anxiously awaiting any news from our colleagues,” the statement said.
