Istanbul, October 5 (Hibya) - All major US stock market indexes closed higher on Friday, October 2.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.49 percent to 51,176.96 points. The S&P 500 gained 0.73 percent to 7,722.72 points.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq index climbed 1.19 percent to 27,190.864 points, while the Nasdaq 100 rose 1 percent to 30,807.931 points.
The Russell 2000 index, which includes small-cap companies, also ended the day up 0.94 percent at 2,832.895 points.
Thus, all major US stock indexes rose on the final trading day of the week, led by technology shares.
