Canberra, July 22 (Hibya) – Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong held her first meeting with Brunei Darussalam's Foreign Minister, Prince Abdul Mateen.

Wong said the meeting highlighted the longstanding ties between the two countries, stating, "We once again reaffirmed the value of the long-standing friendship between our two nations."
Referring to future cooperation goals, Wong said, "I look forward to working together to further deepen our cooperation on regional security and economic resilience."
